There are a lot of good reasons to be afraid of what's coming, and those reasons get stronger every day. It's hard to be optimistic about the future when the trends indicate that it's going to be incredibly dark.
Why doesn't the author feel comfortable talking about Republican's antipathy to renewables and climate action being driven by funding from oil interests?
Even the graph they chose to show how Republicans hated renewables showed a majority of Republicans voters wanting an expansion.
