IMO:
"AI" kind of highlights a fact that has been prevalent forever. Fascism, Marketing, FinBoys, Bubbles, TRL, Social Media, Influencers & Streamers, now AI ... and Musicians, Artists, making money and giving less and less shit all the way ... not doing your own thinking while ignoring all negative effects & side-effects for the benefit of the super-ego & the pseudo-dominant financial hierarchies is a long-running method of cooptation and incorporation, it's a slow burn FUBU death cult, but only if you look in that direction or lose focus, which is why adventurers, explorers, scientists, engineers, nerds, tend to concentrate and constantly zoom in and out. in essence, people who don't do their own thinking, tend to be quite "open & receptive"
