sad to hear it probably won't be visible during the eclipse... the other day APoD made it sound like there was a chance


It'll be about two "hand's width" (20 degrees) to the east (left) of the Sun during the eclipse. While you may not see it bare-eye, binoculars should be enough to show it when totality is on. https://www.astronomy.com/observing/a-comet-will-be-visible-... has an indicative view.
