+1 The Air and Space Museum is the largest outside the Smithsonian, they have an SR-71 and several variants of Air Force One, as well as all kinds of interesting military and experimental civilian aircraft. Tucson is a really great place to nerd out as an engineer.

That one is pretty large, but the National Air Force Museum in Dayton, Ohio is the largest and oldest military aviation museum in the world.

They have 2 SR-71s, one of which is the prototype YF-12 interceptor[1] meant to engage in air-to-air combat.

They also have a number of presidental aircraft, including the one JFK took to Dallas in 1963[2].

Surprisingly, they also have the Memphis Belle[3].

Been there a dozen times at least and still find something I haven't seen before.
