Obsidian is great but I still prefer VSCode for creating these types of interconnected markdown notes on desktop. Mainly because of the sheer amount of extensions available for VS Code. For example, I can write Jupyter notebooks in markdown files and let them be part of my notes but also open them as notebooks and execute code right in VS Code.

I do love Obsidian mobile though, undefeated on mobile!
