That’s one key feature, but another is the real-time approval UI. I’d love to have that for my other network devices like printers, video game consoles, etc.

If I had that I might even consider off-the-shelf “smart home” stuff but for now I just won’t buy any such hardware unless it’s 100% local with wires and/or 802.1X support, and even then I don’t really trust it.
